Sources and method
- Records cover every contest of anyone who ever won, all 2021 candidates, and Sarawak by-election candidates, matched by the source’s candidate ID rather than similar names.
- Seat histories match exactly the same seat name only; this does not mean the boundaries were the same, and older seats with other names are not included.
- Counted by party, not coalition: SPDP renamed itself PDP in 2019 and is treated as one party; other party changes (such as PBDS and PRS) are counted as in the source. BEBAS means independent.
- This is a historical record, not this election’s odds or a prediction.
