Electorate notice: Sarawak had 2,051,596 registered voters as of 31 August 2026, up 63.86% from 2021

Utusan Sarawak reported on 28 October 2026, citing police election preparations, that Sarawak had 2,051,596 registered voters as of 31 August 2026. Compared with the 1,252,014 registered voters for the 12th Sarawak election in 2021, this is an increase of 799,582, or approximately 63.86%. KuchingTalk Undi calculated the change as (2,051,596 − 1,252,014) ÷ 1,252,014 × 100%. This compares registered electorates, not turnout or ballots cast. The August figure is not confirmation of the final electorate for the 13th Sarawak election. RTM reported that the electoral roll to be used is on the agenda of the EC's special meeting on 6 November 2026.
